WanderSnap hits Beta 4 on the road to the Mac App Store

WanderSnap has reached its Beta 4 milestone — and with it, a meaningful step closer to being available on the Apple App Store for macOS.

Performance, everywhere

Beta 4 is heavy on the under-the-hood work: numerous performance updates across the app, from scanning your photo library to rendering trips. The milestones from here are about polish and App Store readiness, and this release clears a lot of that runway.

See what's already in a trip

Photo Library Analysis got smarter about showing you the state of your library. As it groups photos by city and date range, each stretch now shows at a glance whether it's already assigned to a trip — so when San Diego and Newport Beach are already part of Socal 2020, you can see that right in the list instead of rediscovering it.

You can hide everything that's already in a trip with one click, filter out home cities that shouldn't count as travel, and turn what's left into a new trip from a single selection. The result: working through years of photos — 460 locations across 880 days in the library above — without retreading ground you've already organized.
